BRAZILIAN IMPORT! A vinyl reissue of a great title from the late ’60s Brazilian psych scene. Released in 1968 on the Som Maior label, the record blends psychedelia, fuzzy garage-pop and high level beat. The band formed in Sao Paulo and consisted of Englishman David Charles Odams (guitar and vocals), his American wife Jocelyn Ann Odams (maracas and vocals) and local musicians Alcindo Maciel (guitar and vocals) and Jose Carlos de Aquino (guitar and drums). For their LP the group recorded well chosen covers (including two songs known from Love, including ‘ Orange Skies’ with amazing female vocals) as well as strong originals. A selection of this album was released on 10-inch by an Italian label a number of years ago. Now you get the complete LP, plus two previously unissued tracks.
