Slows – Slows LP

Slows is the solo-project of musician/producer Matthew Simms, who also happens to be a member of Wire since 2010. This repetitive, cosmic and minimal self-titled work offers drones and arrangements that will excite fans of of Terry Riley, JD Emmanuel and ‘Dreamweapon’-era Spacemen 3. The material (two side-long sound collages) is selected from home recordings of improvised modular synth and Farfisa organ pieces, processed and distressed through old analogue delays and reverbs. Limited to 300 copies.
