HELL SHOVEL comes from the good Montreal’s underground scene and it’s the project of Jeff Clarke (leader of the garage band DEMONS CLAWS, RED MASS) and Dox Grillo (DEMONS CLAWS, RED MASS, CHOCOLATE).
HELL SHOVEL has a special connection with Europe, in fact besides the several tours the band did in the old Continent most of the songs of the songs has been composed between France and Germany. Helped by Blood Shoot Bill and John Boy Adonis (from King Kahn and the Shrines) on the drums and percussions and after two previous 7″. HELL SHOVEL has produced an amazing records. It’s a mind blowing mix of 60s garage, weird psychedelia and kaleidoscopic rock.
