Remastered at 45rpm for maximum listening pleasure, here’s a reissue of the debut-LP by this Japanese psych band, founded in Tokyo in 1969. Featuring covers of Sonny Boy Williamson, Chester Burnett, Memphis Slim, Willie Dixon, and more, this is the greatest recorded example of the Japanese obsession with American blues music. The band would record several more albums and then continue as, simply, Creation, but nothing reached the sheer blues rock heights of this ’69 debut.
